LATENT CATALYST AND THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent catalyst being stable without developing catalytic action at a temperature lower than a molding temperature and exhibiting effect making a curing rate extremely rapid when molding a thermosetting resin and to provide a thermosetting resin composition having the latent catalyst. SOLUTION: The latent catalyst is obtained by coating an acidic compound accelerating curing of a thermosetting compound with a polymer. The thermosetting resin composition has the latent catalyst.
