PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extensible basket for a bicycle, which extensible basket can store a baggage without providing an additional basket even if the baggage exceeds the normal receiving limit. SOLUTION: An inner basket 2, which is open on its upper and lower sides, is arranged in an outer basket 3 having fittings (resilient engaging means). The storage space can be widened by lifting the inner basket and by fixing it to the outer basket according to the volume of the baggage. Further, the storage space can be stepwise adjusted according to the volume of the baggage by providing another fitting below the right and left fittings. In addition, the theft of he inner basket can be prevented by providing catching and lowering buttons on the upper fittings, and the inner basket can be easily lowered by one finger. Further, the storage space can be increased by lifting the inner basket by arranging the inner basket, which is open on its upper and lower sides, in the outer basket having hooks attached thereto so as to turn by 360°.
