PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal type blood pump apparatus generating only a little hemolysis in a pump apparatus rotating an impeller in non-contact with a housing using a dynamic pressure groove. SOLUTION: This centrifugal type blood pump apparatus 1 is provided with an impeller 21 having a magnetic substance 25 and sending liquid by being rotated in the housing 20, an impeller rotation torque generating part 3 for attracting and rotating the magnetic substance 25 of the impeller 21, and a dynamic pressure groove 38 provided on the inside face of the housing 20 in the impeller rotation torque generating part side. The dynamic pressure groove 38 satisfies that a groove depth related value (a) (a=h1/h2) calculated from a distance h1 between the impeller 21 in the dynamic pressure groove part in the impeller rotation and the housing, and a distance h2 between the impeller in a dynamic pressure groove non-presence part and the housing is 1.5-2.5; and a groove width related value (s) (s=Bo/B) calculated from the sum B (B=Bo+B1) of a dynamic pressure groove non-presence part width B1 between the width Bo of the circumferential edge part of the dynamic pressure groove and the circumferential edge of a dynamic pressure groove adjacent thereto, and the width Bo is 0.6-0.8.
