The artificial narcosis respiration unit presents the drive gas for the dome (1), or for the dome and the control chamber of an overflow valve (15), with use of a double valve (3) consisting of inhalation and exhalation valves (4, 5). The unit further includes valves (22, 23) for switching the unit between narcosis and therapy modes of operation.
