<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance optical pickup capable of moving a lens for correcting spherical aberration and precisely controlling positions. <P>SOLUTION: This optical pickup includes a light source 101, an objective lens 107 for converging a light beam emitted from the light source 101 on the recording surface 108a of an optical recording medium 108, and a spherical aberration correcting means 100 arranged in an optical path between the light source 101 and the objective lens 107 and equipped with a lens group for correcting the spherical aberration of the light beam. In the optical pickup, the spherical aberration correcting means 100 includes a holder 2 for holding at least one lens 1a of the lens group, sliding support members 8a and 8b for supporting the holder 2 in an optical axis direction, and grease applied to the sliding support parts of the holder 2 of the slide supporting members 8a and 8b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
