<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a further efficient recovery method even though the conventional image forming apparatus has a recovery method that a document is set and read again from the beginning or performs recovery, by displaying/printing image data read last and performing reset from the document corresponding to the displayed image, when a printing job is interrupted because of jamming or the like, in an automatic document feeder of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The situation where the printing job is interrupted because of the jamming or the like in the automatic document feeder in the midst of the job frequently happens in the midst of reading the document of one page in the automatic document feeder, especially, a sheet-through system feeder. In such a case, the image of the document which does not fulfill one page is displayed/printed without being erased, whereby the efficiency of recovery is improved even slightly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
