<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice processed food such as flavorous boiled rice or rice crackers through diminishing offensive odor emitting from rice declined in freshness. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the rice processed food is provided, involving adding 1-200 mg of a hop extract per kg of raw rice in cooking rice or in producing rice crackers.
