<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare novel seasoning enabling easy intake of carotenes, suiting all tastes so that even a child who dislikes vegetables becomes a great eater thereof, excellent in nutritional balance of vitamin C, vitamin E, dietary fiber, and the like, other than the carotenes. <P>SOLUTION: This seasoning is obtained by heating a material comprising squash sarcocarp as a main raw material, and water so as to be concentrated, and contains seasoning ingredients. It is preferable that onion is added as a material other than the squash, a variety of the squash is buttercup squash, and the seasoning ingredients comprise vinegar, sweetener, salt, spices, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
