<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector type vehicular headlight capable of sufficiently securing the lightness of a light distribution pattern diffusing area, even in the case of adopting a side insertion type lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: A light axis side area of a reflection face 24a is enabled to be utilized effectively by inserting and fixing a light source bulb 22 into a reflector 24 from a side part of the light axis at the position distant downward from the light axis. Furthermore, an additional reflector 34 reflecting the light from the light source bulb 22 frontward without making the light transmit through a projection lens 28 is arranged under the light source 22a of the light source bulb 22.
