<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing an image defect from occurring with inexpensive constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with an image carrier (PR) carrying an electrified toner image on its surface, a transfer device (Rt) transferring the toner image carried on the surface of the image carrier (PR) to recording paper (S) in a transfer area (Q3) where it is opposed to the image carrier (PR), and a paper guide member (10) having a sheet type paper guide (12) composed of single material and electrified to have the same polarity as the electrification polarity of the toner image when the recording paper (S) rubs on its surface and a guide main body (11b) supporting the guide (12) and guiding the recording paper (S) transported to the transfer area (Q3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
