<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring control system that enables monitoring control from a new monitoring control apparatus annexed to an existing monitoring control apparatus, without the laying of new analog signal cables between a central control room and field plant equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The plant monitoring control system comprises: the existing plant monitoring control apparatus 1101 comprising an existing monitoring control computer 1102 and an AD/DA converter 1103 interposed between the monitoring control computer and a terminal block to convert analog input signals to digital signals and convert digital input signals to analog signals as outputting them; and the new plant monitoring control apparatus 101 comprising a digital transmission line 103 connected to a digital input/output terminal side of the AD/DA converter, a new monitoring control computer 102 connected to the digital transmission line for plant monitoring control, and a connector 104 for connecting the digital transmission line and the monitoring control computer 102 to convert monitoring control signals input in count values from the AD/DA converter to engineering values in physical values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
