PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for a computer user to acquire an update of a software product by oneself. SOLUTION: Software updates and fixes in the past determined by a system manager are stored on a database 106 of a security hot fix server (SHF) 102 at a remote site 160 relative to a customer side 150. The system managers registers customer side systems 112, 114, 116, 118, respectively.
