PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player in which scratch playback is started in good timing based on a mark that is beforehand provided on the top surface of a control disk part similar to the case of an analog record to indicate the location where the scratch playback is to be conducted. SOLUTION: The optical disk player is provided with a reading part which is used to read audio data, a storage part, a playback part, a disk part, a driving part which is used to rotatively drive the disk part, a control disk part which is mounted on the disk part and is provided with the mark on the top surface, a rotational angle detecting part which is used to detect a rotational angle of the control disk part, a rotation detecting part which is used to output pulse signals by the rotation of the control disk part and a control part that is used to control the driving part so as to delay the time in which rotation of the disk part is started based on the detected rotational angle, read the audio data with a reference reading speed and order while the control disk part is rotated with a reference rotational speed and direction and control the reading speed and reading order of the audio data stored in the storage part in accordance with the pulse signals.
