PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western-style toilet bowl capable of surely preventing splashing of sewage, and capable of minimizing dislocation of a toilet seat. SOLUTION: This western-style toilet bowl has a toilet bowl body 1 and a toilet seat 3, and is formed by arranging the rim 6 in an upper end part of the toilet bowl body 1. The western-style toilet bowl is characterized in that a width of the rim 6 in the substantially horizontal direction with a floor surface is set to a half or less to a width of the toilet seat 3 in the substantially horizontal direction with the floor surface; a leg 5 is arranged on the toilet bowl body 1 side of the toilet seat 3; the leg 5 is formed downward in a recessed shape to the toilet bowl body 1 side of the toilet seat 3; the leg 5 continues over a front part of the toilet seat 3; and when the toilet seat 3 is raised up and brought down, the leg 5 engages with the rim 6.
