PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural fiber-reinforced polyester material with excellent mold releasability, heat resistance and stiffness. SOLUTION: The natural fiber-reinforced polyester material contains an aliphatic polyester and pulp, and further contains a layered silicate. The natural fiber-reinforced polyester material is composed of 100 pts.wt. of the aliphatic polyester and 10-50 pts.wt. of the pulp and 1-10 pts.wt. of the layered silicate. The aliphatic polyester is preferably a polylactic acid and/or a polybutylene succinate. The natural fiber-reinforced polyester material preferably contains 5-30 pts.wt. of an elastomer to 100 pts.wt. of the aliphatic polyester. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
