PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly shop of the machinery capable of enhancing the working efficiency, high in productivity, and easy in labor-saving. SOLUTION: The assembly shop 10 of the machinery constituted by assembling heavy parts A-G, medium to small parts and small articles with each other comprises an assembly line 13 having a worker area 11 in which workers can assemble necessary parts on one side, parts storage spaces 14-16 for the medium to small parts before cleaning which are provided on the inlet side of the assembly line 13, a parts cleaner 17, service racks 18 for the heavy parts A-G arranged parallel to the assembly line 13, a carrying robot 20 which crosses a carrying passage 19 arranged in the middle between the assembly line 13 and the service racks 18 and carries the heavy parts A-G from the service racks 18 to the assembly line 13, and a small article rack 21 to store small articles which is provided within the worker area 11 or adjacent to the worker area 11.
