ROTATION AXIS SYMMETRICAL WORKING METHOD AND ROTATION AXIS SYMMETRICAL WORKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours with a decrease in the number of times of correction work until the target forming surface precision is achieved. SOLUTION: A rotating workpiece and a tool are relatively scanned in mutual contact state, thereby working the workpiece to a desired rotation axis symmetrical shape. This working method includes: a programming process of making a working program so that the scanning locus of a contact point between the workpiece and the tool conforms to the shape of a desired workpiece; a correction process of correcting the working program on the basis of data showing the relationship between a difference between the preset depth of cut preset in working the workpiece and the actual depth of cut in actual working and the distance from the center of rotation of the workpiece; and a working process of working the workpiece on the basis of the working program corrected by the correcting process.
