PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of collecting activity information, capable of easily and minutely measuring the degree of activity of a living body based on at least two parameters expressing the movement of the living body, and a device and a method of collecting activity information with a simple structure, with reduced dependence on the clothes, and with excellent compatibility with other sensors on the mounting. SOLUTION: The device 1 of collecting activity information comprises an acceleration sensor 2 for detecting the acceleration with at least two nearly orthogonally crossing axes and a calculation part 3 for calculating the posture and the degree of activity of the living body based on the acceleration with at least two axes detected by the acceleration sensor.
