PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fire charcoal of a charcoal fire roaster in a short time. SOLUTION: The charcoal fire roaster (1) comprises an outer drum (2), an inner drum (3) engaged with the outer drum (2) so as to form a smoke sucking space (4) between the outer drum (2), a charcoal burner (7) arranged in the inner drum (3), and an air supply means (6) fitted inside the inner drum (3). An igniting tool (10) comprises an igniting tool body (11) having an opening (1101) formed in the center, and a firing source storing part (12) arranged under the igniting tool body (11) so as to communicate. Inflammable igniting source (14) such as paper is loaded inside the igniting source storing part (12). The firing tool (10) is arranged inside the charcoal burner (7). The opening (1101) formed in the center of the igniting tool body (11) is closed by a mesh-like net grate (15). Waste charcoal (16) is spread over the net grate (15) and charcoal (17) is piled up on it. The air supply means (6) is driven and the igniting source (14) is fired. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
