<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate copolymer having precise transferability, a low water-absorbing property and low photoelasticity, and an optical disc substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate copolymer is substantially constituted of (A) a dihydric phenolic component having a 6,6'-dihydroxy-3,3,3',3'-tetramethyl-1,1'-spirobiindane structure and (B) a dihydric phenolic component represented by formula [2], and the molar ratio of (A):(B) is 30:70 to 80:20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
