<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly control right data to be distributed while protecting contents. <P>SOLUTION: In an invalidation list confirmation section 205, it is confirmed whether or not a certificate confirmed as reliable by a client certificate authentication section 202 corresponds to an invalidation list. The invalidation list includes an invalidation list of a high invalidation level indicating a client having illegality in a DRM 1 managing right data inside the client and contents corresponding to the right data and an invalidation list of a low invalidation level indicating a client having illegality in a DRM 2 managing exported right data and contents corresponding thereto. In a distributable right data class determination section 205, if the certificate does not correspond to any one of the invalidation lists, export permitted right data and export prohibited right data can be distributed and if the certificate corresponds to the high invalidation level, the client 101 is notified of an authentication error but if the certificate corresponds to the low invalidation level, only the export prohibited right data can be distributed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
