<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio-video jack equipped with a protective wall to prevent foreign matter from being inserted into the rear part of the jack when the foreign matter such as a wire being inserted into the tip end of the jack from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The audio-video jack 1 has a terminal 2. On one end of the terminal 2, and a housing 6 is integrally provided with the terminal 2. The protective wall 10 is provided on the rear of the housing 6, and interrupts the insertion of a foreign matter into the rear of the jack 1 when the foreign matter such as a wire is inserted from the terminal 2 of the jack 1. When an audio-video appliance equipped with the jack 1 is energized, the insertion of a foreign matter into the inside of the audio-video appliance and the electric shock by the contact with various devices are avoided, thereby providing excellent safety. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
