<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial tooth root, when being buried in a bone tissue, prevented from being buried too deeply, having high bonding strength with a denture and having a high aesthetic property. <P>SOLUTION: This artificial tooth root is provided with a denture support part 2, when a denture is mounted, supporting and fixing the denture, a buried part 3 buried in the bone tissue, and a gingiva contact part 4 provided between the denture support part and the buried part and, when the artificial tooth root is implanted, at least having its part in contact with the gingiva. The external shape of the gingiva contact part 4 is swelled as its approaching toward the denture support part and an edge part 11 on which the lower part of the denture is mounted is provided in a boundary between the gingiva contact part and the denture support part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
