<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member wherein a circuit can be easily recovered when an overcurrent flows and a cut-off current can be arbitrarily set, and to provide a flat cable and a rotary connector using the connection member. <P>SOLUTION: In this connector, the connection member 1 wherein a plurality of electric conductors 1b-1f arranged in parallel are supported by an electric insulation member 1a, the flat cable 5 provided with the connection member 1, and the flat cable 5 is vortically wound and housed in a ring-like space formed by first and second housings.
