<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a head lamp capable of simply and efficiently mounting a head lamp unit and enhancing appearance by reducing dispersion of gaps at a periphery of the head lamp unit. <P>SOLUTION: When the head lamp unit 30 is fastened to a front fender 20 by fastening means 33a, 33b, since a rearward movement means 40 for moving the head lamp unit 30 to a rear side of the vehicle is provided, a mounting position of the head lamp unit 30 is simply determined, dispersion of the gaps at the periphery of the head lamp unit 30 can be eliminated and positioning of the head lamp unit 30 can be determined by fastening work of the fastening means 33a, 33b.
