SEGMENT PIECE MEASURING INSTRUMENT AND SHIELD INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument capable of recording the consistent stress history of a segment piece from the manufacture of the segment piece until the service period of a tunnel. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument comprises the segment piece used in a segment lining method in a shield tunneling method, at least one sensor for measuring stress applied to the segment piece, and a data logger connected to the sensor to record the measured values of the sensor. When manufacturing the segment piece, the sensor and data logger are installed beforehand on the surface of the segment piece or embedded inside the segment piece to automatically and continuously measure the stress applied to the segment piece from the manufacture of the segment throughout the service period of the tunnel.
