PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens replacing digital camera in which not only a lens unit in the same series of a camera but also a lens unit of a different kind can be used widely. SOLUTION: The structure of the digital camera is divided into a camera body 10 including signal processing, displaying and operating sections, a lens mount 20 including a recording medium and a connector, and a lens unit 30 including an image pick-up circuit and a lens wherein the lens mount 20 can be replaced by a lens mount 20a with an XD card slot, a lens mount 20b for a memory stick, a lens mount 20c for a SD card or the like, so that lens units of different companies can be used in combination.
