PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which satisfies required conditions including improvement of luminance and lowering driving voltage. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes a hole injection electrode (a positive electrode) and a hole injection layer, a hole transportation layer, a luminous layer and an electron injection electrode (a negative electrode). A material of the hole injection layer and/or the hole transportation layer is represented by a chemical formula as follows: (In the chemical formula, n represents an integer from one to four and R1 or R2 is respectively and independently selected from a group consisting of aromatic group, heterocyclic group and aliphatic group which are either substituted or not substituted, and hydrogen atom).
