PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector made of a material free from a specific metal material and strong in connection with a conductor of a cable terminal, and a method of connection thereof and a connection part. SOLUTION: The connection method of a connector 21 according to the present invention is a method of connecting the connector 21 to a conductor 31 of a cable terminal, comprising contacting the conductor 31 with the connector 21 made of a composite material 10 prepared by laminating and cladding at least two layers of an Al alloy layer 11 comprising Al as a main component and a Fe alloy layer 12 comprising Fe or Fe and Al as a main component/ main components, and prepared by arranging the Al alloy layer 11 in a contact part with the conductor 31, and integrally forming at least a part (fusion part) 38 of the contact part between the conductor 31 and the Al alloy layer 11.
