PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating hydrophilic fluororesin porous film by which hydrophilicity of a hydrophilic layer on the hydrophilic fluororesin porous film in which the hydrophilic layer having anti-oxidizing cleaning property is formed on the surface is enhanced and/or recovered in a simple and easy manner. SOLUTION: The hydrophilic fluororesin porous film in which the hydrophilic layer having anti-oxidizing cleaning property is formed on the surface is treated with an alkaline solution containing an oxidant.
