PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan having a required strength for fanning action of the fan at a fan face, a handle portion, and a connecting portion of them of the fan and integrally formed by punching out in a free design and a producing method thereof. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the fan 1 whose core material 4 of the fan face 2 and a T-shaped handle portion is common in sandwiching the whole base portion of the fan face 2 by a connecting portion 3' connected to the upper end of T-shaped handle portion 3, thick paper belts 3a are attached to both faces biased to one side in width direction of a core material belt 4a of the fan 1, then thin substrate sheet belts 5a are attached to both whole face over the core material belt 4a and the thick paper belts 3a, thereafter surface paper belts 6a which has been printed or will be printed are attached on the thin substrate sheet belts 5a to form a multilayered belt material A, and the fan face 2 and the T-shaped handle portion 3 is punched out to integrally form the fan 1.
