<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication system capable of participating to a meeting etc. at a predetermined place from a remote place as if presenting at the same place. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a remote communication equipment provided with a viewing and imaging unit integrally configured by a monitor and a movie camera, a microphone, a vocalizing device, and data transmitting receiving means for transmitting an image and a voice and for receiving data from a remote operating communication equipment 7 at at least one of two or more remote places, and comprises the remote operating communication equipment configured to be provided with data transmitting and receiving means for transmitting operation data of each device and receiving data from the remote communication equipment in the other place, wherein the image desired by a remote participant is displayed on a monitor of the remote operating communication equipment while notifying a state of an adjacent place where the remote participant for performing an operation of the remote operating communication equipment is imaging to a person within the place provided with the remote communication equipment by rotating the viewing and imaging unit of the remote communication equipment by an operation of operating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
