摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and its method by which storage capacity for temporarily storing management information is reduced in the case of recording encoded data obtained by encoding content data and the management information on a file; and to provide a program.

SOLUTION: Information for generating the management information for generating the management information is acquired based on the encoded data on processing of interest. The information for generating the management information is compressed. Compression information obtained by compression is stored as management information on the encoded data on the processing of interest on a temporary storage area.
