<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the effective light emitting area of the front lens without large-sizing a lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: This is the lighting fixture arranged at the inner side the rear window in which a light source 16 is housed in the light room S that is demarkated by a light body 14 mounted in an aperture of the front lens 12 of a front view nearly rectangular container shape, of which the rear face side is opened, while in this vehicular lighting fixture, fish eye lenses 20 are installed in the light emitting face of the front lens 12, and parallel light forming lens steps 22, 23, 24, are installed in its rear side which convert the light source light into a parallel light and guide it to the fish eye lenses. Since the fish eye lenses 20, (21) are installed in all areas of the light emitting face including regions corresponding to the side walls 12a to 12d in the light emitting face 13, and reflecting faces 30a are installed on the side walls 12a to 12d that guide the incident light source light forward inside the side walls, the side wall corresponding regions 13a to 13d in the emitting face 13 which do not emit light in a conventional device are made to emit light to enlarge the effective light emitting area of the front lens 12, a driver's rearward view is not reduced, while visibility of a lighting fixture from a driver in a following car also becomes excellent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
