PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of properly reflecting the taste of a user in an image selecting operation to next image selection. SOLUTION: Evaluation values of a plurality of predetermined evaluation items are each calculated for each image, and the plurality of evaluation values are each multiplied by weight and totaled to calculate a total evaluation value. Then, a plurality of candidate images are selected from among the image group on the basis of this total evaluation value, and are displayed. When an image to be processed is selected from among the candidate images by a user, the correlation degree between the selection by the user and each of the evaluation items is obtained on the basis of the evaluation value of the plurality of evaluation items in the selected image to be processed.
