HETEROGENEOUS NETWORK COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, SENDER RECOGNIZING PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heterogeneous communication apparatus capable of recognizing a caller in the case that an analog telephone set contained in the apparatus makes IP communication receives caller information from a public analog telephone network. SOLUTION: The heterogeneous communication apparatus connectable to first and second communication network lines and for carrying out communication control between the analog telephone set contained in the apparatus and the first or second communication network line is provided with: a caller information detection means for detecting caller information arrived from the first communication line; a communication state monitor means for monitoring the communication state of the contained analog telephone set; and a tone signal transmission means for transmitting a tone signal comprising a pattern in response to the caller information to the analog telephone set when the communication state monitor means discriminates that the analog telephone set and the second communication network line make communication in the case of detecting the caller information by the caller information detection means.
