PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse transmission system capable of transmitting a measuring signal outputted from a meter to a distant place by pulse transmission with high reliability. SOLUTION: The pulse transmission system is provided with a pulse generator 2 transmitting pulse signals PP and PN of both positive and negative polarities every time the measuring signal outputted at random timing from the meter 8 is received, a pulse transmission path 3 transmitting the pulse signals of both positive and negative polarities from one end to another end, a pulse receiver 4 connected to the other end of the pulse transmission path 3, a received pulse determining means 5 for determining whether or not the pulse signal received from the pulse generator 2 is a normal pulse signal on the basis of a signal waveform of the pulse signal received by the pulse receiver 4, a pulse integrator 6 integrating the number of times of reception of the normal pulse signal transmitted from the pulse generator 2 and received by the pulse receiver 4, and an integration data transmission device 7 transmitting integration data integrated by the pulse integrator 6 in a telegraphic message form.
