PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of optical equipment with a liquid crystal monitor to determine composition of a subject and accurately, speedily, easily, and comfortably confirm horizontal and vertical positions to prevent a liquid crystal monitor surface from being stained and flawed and further in order to perform photographing. SOLUTION: (1) Identical segments (external grating line) are provided at right and left and upper and lower identical positions of an outside part of an outer peripheral part of an external frame of the liquid crystal monitor. (2) A seal type frame which has external grating lines printed or engraved and is made of resin is stuck beforehand on the external frame of the liquid crystal monitor. (3) This frame has intersection display marks, such as "+" and "x", printed or engraved beforehand at intersections where the external grading lines are considered to intersect each other when extended inward on a resin plate on the liquid crystal monitor. (4) The user of the optical equipment with the liquid crystal monitor uses the frame stuck beforehand on the liquid crystal monitor to compose a subject and confirm horizontal and vertical positions.
