PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply measure the temperature history of a steel plate conveyed to a heat treatment furnace. SOLUTION: This heat treatment furnace is equipped with a sample steel plate 5 attachable to and detachable from a steel plate 2 conveyed to a continuous annealing furnace 1, a thermocouple 6 attached to the steel plate 5 for measuring the temperature history of the steel plate 5 and a data logger 7, and a heat-insulated case 8 for covering the data logger 7 to keep internal temperature lower than the heat resistance temperature of the data logger 7 when passing through the annealing furnace 1.
