PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which can be closed by engaging flaps to one another without forcebly deforming them and without using a sealing member such as an adhesive tape or the like. SOLUTION: In the packaging box in which an each pair of side plates 1, 2 forms a peripheral wall, flaps 6, 7 are provided on upper ends 8, 9 of the side plates 1, 2 composing the peripheral wall, these flaps 6, 7 are folded inside along the upper ends 8, 9 to close the upper opening of the peripheral wall, and folding lines 6a, 7a parallel to the upper ends 8, 9 of the side plates 1, 2 are formed on the flaps 6, 7, respectively. Further, a cut-out 6c is formed at the corner of the flap 6, the length X of the cut-out 6c in the right and left direction of the flap 6 is longer than a distance D from the folding line 7a to the tip edge 7b in the flap 7, and the cut-out 6c is arranged on the tip side of the folding line 6a.
