There is disclosed a technique for providing a global connectivity to a mobile node connected to a mobile access router forming a mobile network via a local fixed router. According to the technique, the mobile node (1000-1) can acquire a global address of the access router (mobile access router 1200-1) connected via the local fixed router (1100-1). For example, by using the mobile node, transmission of a biding update message having a special mark embedded and transmission of a special packet are performed. The mobile access router which receives the message and the packet transmitted from the mobile node recognizes that the mobile node doesnot know the primary global address of the mobile access router and reports its own primary global address to the mobile node.
