<p>The present invention relates to a backlight assembly with a side frame, which includes: a stacked assembly composed by stacking a support frame, a reflecting plate, and a light guide plate; a tubular light source assembly which is provided on the side of the light guide plate of the stacked assembly; optical films which are provided on the stacked assembly; and a frame, which has a groove for accommodating the tubular light source and fixing the stacked assembly. The present invention also relates to a method for assembling the backlight assembly with a side frame. The backlight assembly with a side frame according to the invention makes the structure design of whole backlight assembly more simple and the assembling of assembly easier and the structure more steady, and reduces the cost of the model.</p> |
