The method involves searching and detecting information in an information network according to requirements of a user. The information is transmitted to the user. The information network has at least one network node providing information. First the requirement of the user is transmitted to an agent which carries out the requirement in the information network decoupled from the user. Preferably the required information can not be previously localised in the network. The user can access the information network by a network supplier.
