<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor, eliminating degradation in startability from a minimum discharge capacity state by a compressor, and facilitating modification work of the compressor. <P>SOLUTION: In the variable displacement compressor 2, refrigerant sucked from an intake pressure area 20 of a refrigerant circuit is compressed, a discharge capacity is changed by pressure regulation of an intermediate pressure region 15, and the compressed refrigerant gas is discharged to a discharge pressure area 25. The compressor comprises: first passages 26, 30, 31 communicating between the discharge pressure area and the intermediate pressure area depending on an external control 40; a second passage 22 constantly communicating with the intermediate pressure area and the intake pressure area by restriction 24; third passages 34, 35, 38 communicating with the intermediate pressure area and the intake pressure area depending on internal pressure fluctuation 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
