<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas absorbent molding with a high oxygen absorption rate and oxygen absorption capacity, which provides an oxygen absorbent molding excellent in mechanical strength, and furthermore, which can quickly remove moisture present or intruding inside an organic EL element after sealed and can quickly remove oxygen present or intruding inside the organic EL element under dry atmosphere, and which can lengthen the life of the element and, at the same time, can be easily fixed inside the organic EL element, and the organic EL element composed of the gas absorbent molding and an electroluminescent structure. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen absorbing agent formed article is composed of an oxygen absorbent powder and a binder, characterized in that the binder is a fibrous resin. A fluorocarbon resin can be used as the fibrous resin.
