PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board capable of suppressing transmission losses caused by passage of a high frequency signal through a waveguide and performing high-speed large-capacity information transmission, producible with a high yield rate at low cost, and suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: This circuit board 1a is provided with a dielectric substrate 4 on whose one surface an element 2 and a micro strip line 3 to be connected to this element 2 are wired, and on whose the other surface a ground pattern 5 having a first slot hole 6 is provided, and a waveguide 7 connected to the other surface of this dielectric substrate 4.
