PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carrying out an automatic tuning channel setting the setting time of which is reduced. SOLUTION: The automatic tuning channel setting unit searches names of broadcast stations among a plurality of combinations of broadcast station information items selected in matching with an area selected by a user on the basis of a plurality of the broadcast station information items from which the name of the broadcast station is searched.
