PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strobe device having a simple constitution where turning members on which an energizing force acts are reduced. SOLUTION: When power is supplied to a solenoid in such a state that a lock part 27b of a lock lever 27 is engaged with a part 21b to be locked of a strobe body to store the strobe body 21 in a storage position of a device body, a locking state by the lock lever 27 is released to make the strobe body 21 turn and project to a projection position. Meanwhile, a projection part 21a of the strobe body 21 is brought into contact with a contact part 23a of a slide member 23 by a storing operation of depressing the strobe body 21 being in the projection position, to store the strobe body 21 in the storage position, and then the slide member 23 moves a slide member retaining member 24 integrated with a movable iron core 26a, in such a direction that the movable iron core 26a is attracted to the solenoid 26.
