摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device that prevents a seal pass, cell gap unevenness, etc., by holding the viscosity of a seal material constant without being influenced by external temperature variation and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device using the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device includes a stage for drawing a seal material on at least one of a 1st and a 2nd substrate, a stage of arranging liquid crystal on at least one of the 1st and 2nd substrates, a stage for arranging the 1st and 2nd substrates on a couple of opposite stages provided in a chamber respectively and putting the stages relatively close to each other to stick the 1st substrate and 2nd substrate together across the seal material, and a seal material curing stage for curing the seal material: and in the sticking stage, the substrates are stuck together by controlling the temperature of the stages and/or the temperature in the chamber.
