摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rolling-up of a cleaning blade by applying lubricant to an image carrier in an image forming apparatus using small diameter toner. SOLUTION: Appropriate friction force is always maintained and the rolling-up of the cleaning blade is prevented by changing an application area and an amount of application of the lubricant by humidity in the image forming apparatus.
